Eternal Draft Rankings for Season 13 (Unleashed): Legendaries

1/5 is fine for 3, but does the discard effect merit the double influence? Probably, but you'd likely need to draft some big units (and/or evasion effects) to get sufficient "bang" for your buck.

Rating: B

5/4 Flying is generally bonkers in draft. The Reckless is almost immaterial as so few fliers can block this anyhow.

Rating: A-

While draft is often about tempo this relic is essentially granting potentially game-changing cards for free each turn with a 2/2 minion to put them on if you don't already have board presence.

Rating: A

I don't doubt there's some way to make this bonkers in constructed. In draft, however, just no.

Rating: D

An interesting card to build around with casutic rain and what not, as well as to simply make combat awkward at times when buffed with tricks such as Pull Up or Stoneskin.

Rating: B+

OK, I completely misjudged this card. In an world with so much unleash, the extra mana this generates can be harnessed for stupidly powerful effects.

Rating: B

Eight power is generally too much for draft. This card's effect may be worth it, however.

Rating: B-

If you're playing T and have over 10 mana, you're winning anyhow.

Rating: D-

This card is full-on nuts in draft. 5/4 for 4 is great. Endurance is great. The effects are great. The downside is almost nothing. Probably the best legendary in the set.

Rating: A+

At first this looks really good, but by the time it realistically gets played (especially at JJJ influence) your opponent might well have power to burn, wheras whether you have enough to play this relic remains unclear.

Rating: C

Shadow is perhaps the least likely faction to be facing this season - nevertheless a lifesteal blade is a pretty big deal, even for 7 power.

Rating: B+

While, like many legendary relics and spells, this seems to be made for a specific sort of constructed deck you're unlikely to create in draft, the effects are both flexible and powerful enough to play regardless.

Rating: B

Even with zero Frenzy effects, a 4/4 aegis for 4 is excellent. The PPPP is an issue, though. Probably only really possible in a more or less mono-P deck which, this season, is certainly possible.

Rating: B+

Mostly useless.

Rating: D

Pretty much nuts. A 2/6 can probably attack multiple times, and even if not, the inspire effect is by itself worth the price of admission.

Rating: A

A highly commital, situational, and expensive spell with tremendous upside. Value depends greatly on the spells in your deck. On average, probably not quite playable.

Rating: C-

While this season features more relics than usual, this is nevertheless likely to just be an underwhelming 3/4 for 4. EDIT: nevermind, does 4 lifesteal damage if opponent lacks a relic! Oops.

Rating: B+

Due to the frenzy effects everywhere this season, taking damage is riskier than usual. In a non-vulnerable board state and proper power curve, this could prove quite strong, but normally this is simply too dangerous.

Rating: C-

Sooo goooood. Need I really explain why?

Rating: A+

Always at least decent (the 1/1 minotaurs are buffed, right?), and sometimes just completely OP.

Rating: A

Should you be offered it, one of the best reasons to play Praxis in draft.

Rating: A

Rather situation/deck-dependent, as when this whiffs it could whiff really big. That said, the upside is massive.

Rating: B

Quite a fun card that seems well suited to skycrag and especially effective amid all the myriad one health unleash minions.

Rating: A-

Eight power is, again, asking a bit much. The Hearthstone (er, Brickstone?) drawback is somewhat significant as well. Still a farking bomb, of course.

Rating: C+

Obviously a strong card, but even more so given the relative lack of direct removal this season. The "Full Combrei" influence requirements are taxing but often worth the investment.

Rating: A-

Arguably the least useful draft legendary in the set.

Rating: F

Decent at nine power, awful otherwise.

Rating: D

The influence and board state required to pull this off is a bit ambitious for draft. Also, uncoincidentally, a rather "win-more" style card.

Rating: C-

Highly useful as a means of punishing the wide but shallow board states which the unleash effect can often create.

Rating: A-

Rather useless in draft.

Rating: D-

Good luck pulling this off.

Rating: F
